The Importance of Crack Sealing
Cracks inevitably occurs over time as the Asphalt continues to oxidize, causing it to be brittle and prone to deteriorate. When cracks are not sealed, the water has the ability to penetrate through your Asphalt, causing bigger damages such as Potholes.
Crack sealing is the process where Hot Rubberized Sealer is melted at 350 Degree Fahrenheit and is applied between the cracks, preventing further damage to your Asphalt. Hot Rubberized Sealer is used as it has the ability to stretch, allowing the Asphalt to expand and contract. Our team, will leave enough Sealer to allow the Rubber to expand and contract without cracking.
Our Procedure:
1. Our team will identify the cracks that needs to be sealed.
2. Once identified, our team will then prepare the cracks to be sealed by professionally cleaning them with our Asphalt Cleaning Machine and Torch any vegetation that grew between the crack.
3. After, we then apply our Hot Rubberized Sealer with our Crack Fill Applicator to provide a consistent amount of sealer going between the cracks.
